Numerology

I am reading an interesting book titled Godwin's Cabalistic Encyclopedia. It provides an explanation to numbers that are commonly used in everyday life. For example, everyone is familiar with "911". We all know this number from September 11, 2001 as well as for emergency services. Interestingly, 911 is a prime number. Here are some Hebrew interpretations of this number:
  • Bar Shachath - pit of destruction; the 5th hell (corresponds to capital Geburah)
  • Rashith - means beginning
  • Eshim - flames or angelic choir associated with Malkuth
Note that on September 11th, 2001, there was massive destruction, and flames associated with the airplane crashes.
